The mighty Roos are half-way through their two day clash vs. Bayswater-Morley, with some fantastic team and individual performances around the grounds.
1st Grade
1st Grade need to take 5/43 to claim first innings points at Kingsway 1. After being dismissed for 148, the Roos reduced the Bears to 5/104 overnight, with Matt “Dzoidberg” Dzodzos taking 3/7 in a destructive spell.
2nd Grade
After slumping to 7/83, an outstanding performance by James “Jimmy the Pirate” Dicarlo rescued his team with 88 not out, thrilling spectators with his trademark wrist-flicking through the on-side at will. Salvaging 166, the Wanneroo bowlers wreaked havoc at Hillcrest lower as Bayswater-Morley slumped to 7/83 (the same score as the Roos were earlier in the day, but it’s unlikely Jimmy Dicarlo will bat for the Bears). The chief destroyer was Adam “The Doorknocker” Smith with a stunning 3/10 off 10 overs.
3rd Grade
The Magees dismissed Bayswater-Morley for 210, with John “Hiding in 3s” Walter taking 4/72 and Tyler “Questionable Tatts” Ong taking 3/35. The bears are 0/18 in reply.
4th Grade
The Roos compiled a very competitive 237 at Hillcrest Upper, with young Jack “Jacky M” Maraldo racking up 58 and Aryan “AG DeVilliers” Varsani supporting with 42.

Wanneroo restricted Bayswater-Morley to 170, led by Sam “Venus” Williams with 3/30.

Batting first at Hillcrest Upper, our 15s battled hard for 159, with Cody “Billy C” Billington top scoring with 33.
