We all know that cancer is a terrible disease that has taken many a loved one and as a club we have seen some of our members effected by it over the years.
Brendan Morton and family have been a part of WDCC for many years with both boys playing junior and senior cricket for the ROOS.
Unfortunately they lost their mother and wife Claire to cancer a short time ago so I feel Brendan’s passion for trying to raise not only awareness but money to assist in the research for a cure.
Lets all try a get on board and help Brendan meet that goal of $3000.00.

Cancer sucks! We all know that – and we all know someone who has been impacted by it! It is personal for me – but I would love to help someone, from feeling that impact in the future.
Can you help?
I did a 200 km ride last year in a team of 18 – and our team raised over $40,000. This year there will be over 30 riders in the team – each of us with our own story. The beneficially of the fundraising is the Harry Perkins Institute of Medical Research – and I believe this to be very worthwhile. Through this event, I can help prevent other families from having to struggle with this disease.
I understand that you all have multiple requests for donations – but if you can help in even a small way, it will be both appreciated by me – and also go to a great cause. My goal is raise $3,000.
