A belated Happy Christmas and Weekend Wrap for the Wanneroo DCC Family!
In the Seniors, a Golden Roo clean sweep was within grasp, but Gosnells’ 1st Grade proved to be the Grinch that stole Christmas in the form of an 8 wicket hiding.
2nd Grade routed Gosnells for 65, cruising to a ten wicket victory just in time for lunch. 3rd Grade posted an imposing 221 before rolling Gosnells for 103, and 4th Grade posted an equally-imposing 222 before dismissing Gosnells for 124.
In the Juniors, the 17s tasted sweet victory, chasing down Gosnell’s 118 with four wickets in hand. The 15s stumbled chasing a small total of 119, being dismissed themselves for just 98.
Post-match it was a undoubtedly a case of “EVERYBODY WINS!” at the Christmas party. A big thankyou to everyone who contributed to organizing such a great night for the club.
