As we’re getting to the back end (ha) of the season, I’m going to do a quick mid-round Fantasy wrap.
At this point it is looking like the battle for top spot is between two Fantasy titans, Jacob Johnson’s Controversial and Jason Parry’s St James Big Chins. Controversial were looking the safe bet two games out but thanks to the colossal efforts of Vaughn Quinlan (59) and Connor Smith (66) St James Big Chins have edged ahead by a mere 40 points.
As these two teams share 5 players, the battle for the top will effectively be decided by the contributions of the other 6.
|Controversial (Johnston) 5047||St James Big Chins (Parry) 5087|
|Deon Billington (167)||Tristan Hobley (358)|
|Jordon King (387)||Vaughn Quinlan (265)|
|Jacob Bonner (192)||Adam Smith (600)|
|Christopher Quelch (528)||Connor Smith (270)|
|Jacob Johnston (434)||Matthew Spoors (432)|
|Robert Richards (614)||Emile van der Merwe (437)|
Will Smudge or Chris take more poles? Can the King get more catches than Emile? Will Jacobs selection of himself prove the decider?
Robbo and Jordon are yet to bat for Controversial, while Tristan and Connor still have work to do in week 2.
Who will take the advantage with only a game to go?
