Belridge Cricket Academy 2018

Applications for the Belridge Cricket Academy is open!

The Specialist Cricket program is aimed at developing young cricketers and providing them with opportunities to excel in a professional environment, as well as to provide them with the skills necessary to maximise their potential.

The Belridge Cricket Academy is fully endorsed by the Department of Education and Training and the Western Australian Cricket Association. The coaching staff are highly qualified and have their level 2 accreditation, as well as being highly credentialed educators who bring a love of cricket and a commitment to excellence to the specialist cricket program.

Selections are conducted by the Cricket Coordinator at the WACA in March/April every year, where skills and academic testing takes place; a reference from a local club/coach/peer is also required. There is, however, the opportunity for students of any age group to trial with the school anytime during the year. Applicants are put through this competitive process so that the program can be successful in producing high level athletes. Whilst the selection process is of high importance anyone with a passion for cricket who wishes to achieve their best in the sport are encouraged to apply.

Submissions of applications (for Year 7 academic year commencing 2018) close Friday 31 March 2017, and a cricket skills testing day will be held on Monday 3 April 2017 at the WACA grounds.
