181. Haydn Slodecki

Last weekend Haydn Slodecki made his 1st Grade debut for the mighty Roos.

Haydn “Slods” Slodecki has been playing Wanneroo DCC Seniors since 2010/11, notching up 84 matches for the mighty Roos. He has made an impressive 18 half centuries, and scored his maiden ton just over a week ago in 2nd Grade to earn his 1st Grade baggy. Congratulations Haydn!

There were some strong performances by our Roo boys over the weekend, and a 1st Grade debut for Haydn Slodecki. Leigh Millar took five wickets, Jordan King made a gutsy 71 and Aaron Brunner made a breezy 53.

Hi Players,

The Round 2 winner is Fish onnnnn, managed by the incomparable Matthew Fawcett. The big difference this week was his selection of Haydn ‘loves-a-ton’ Slodecki, who it turns out has been shamefully under selected with only 3 players benefitting from his Fantasy scores.

The running leader after 2 rounds is A-Grade fines master and late overs specialist Kyle Millar, with Controversial and Fish onnnnn close behind.

The current leader for last place (and the stew and soup corroded wooden spoon that goes with it) is Corey Roca, Rocci, Rocchicho… Rockets!

Last weekend was another fantastic weekend for Haydn Slodecki (101*) and Dan Lawrence (140), with Aaron Brunner (63) also showing his class. Unfortunately it was a sad day on Saturday at Kingsway with both 1s and 3s going down to Melville. It was a different story at Tompkins Park with both the 2s and 4s tasting sweet, sweet victory.

Results were also split right down the middle in our Juniors with 17s and 14s getting up.
